An ambitious new team member at Microflor

Microflor stands for quality, expertise and custom service. Day in, day out, our growing team works hard to achieve these goals – as does Kirsten Van Linden, our new Commercial and Marketing Manager.

As a newbie at the company, Kirsten is very excited about this new chapter in his career. “I will be leading the sales team at Microflor, setting out the sales strategy, monitoring the rapidly evolving market and taking charge of business development, among other things”, explains the 29-year-old Ghent native. “That includes international travel to attract new clients. It’s a challenging set of tasks, that much is certain, but that’s exactly what I need. Routine is not my cup of tea.”

Speaking of international travel, Kirsten has quite a bit of experience. “After graduating in languages and international business economics, I joined the Panels division at UNILIN as a sales manager. A year and a half later, I had the opportunity to move to Sweden to develop the company’s Scandinavian sales. After two years, I returned to Belgium, where I soon started yearning for another adventure with new growth opportunities.”

When Kirsten was contacted by Microflor, everything suddenly fell into place. “It immediately clicked. The job description looked enticing and the corporate culture really appealed to me. So, what is my personal ambition? To further develop our sales and services in a very dynamic market.”
